Sud Saala Jashn e Faiz celebrated in Moscow

Faiz Ahmad Faiz is an inspiration to millions who admire him for his revolutionary poetry and literature. Considering the depth, vision and universal relevance of his writings, Faiz is undoubtedly considered one of the greatest Urdu poet .2011 is being celebrated as Sud Saala Jashn e Faiz amongs the Urdu Lovers all our the world.Pakistan social community and Anjuman e Faroog e Urdu celebrated it on 22nd April 2011 at Moscow Russia,which was attended by eminent Literary figures like Iftikhar Arif, Kishwar Naheed,Zahida Hina and other along with Faiz Ahmed Faiz's Daughter Saleema Hashmi and Muneeza Hashmi.It was really very inspiriing to see Russians speaking Urdu.Here are some of the pictures of the event

Its really a big surprise for me to see that the work of great Pakistani poet is presented in a country like Russia!!
